Ashley S. Day
In March 2013, Sivia Business and Legal Services, P.C. merged with the A. Day Law Firm, L.L.C., a practice focused on meeting the legal needs of aging individuals and individuals with disabilities and their families. Attorney Ashley Day applies her personal and professional experience and her legal expertise to advise clients in the areas of estate planning, special needs and elder care. She works with clients to help them achieve the highest possible quality of life for their loved one and to ensure it will be sustained throughout the individual's lifetime, no matter their age, situation or disability.
Having a family member with special needs and being a special education teacher, Ashley understands firsthand the issues that confront individuals and families of individuals with disabilities. From her decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, prior to law school, in the areas of mental health, cardiovascular health and pediatric care, Ashley gained real-world, practical knowledge of managed care, Medicaid and Medicare access and benefits, DSM-IV criteria, HIPAA compliance, use of medical guidelines, and consumer education initiatives. During that time, Ashley developed a passion for risk aversion, risk management and stewardship, which she now applies when counseling clients to help them effectively meet the legal, educational and developmental needs of children with disabilities.
Ashley's goal is to resolve the legal matters that affect you, your family and your business. She is committed to the personalized practice of law and the diligent pursuit of cost-effective solutions that benefit you and provide a peace of mind to others who rely upon you.
Ashley welcomes the opportunity to give presentations or seminars on the topics of special needs/disability planning, elder care planning and estate planning. To view her Legal Planning for Special Needs presentation, click here.
