A graduate of Pepperdine Caruso Law School with a Juris Doctor degree, Richard has held significant legal positions, including Associate General Counsel for Argosy Gaming Company and General Counsel for Greektown Casino.

His extensive background includes managing operational legal issues and compliance across multiple gaming properties, litigation management, and providing legal advice on various corporate matters. Richard has also developed and implemented human resource policies and procedures while representing clients at both state and federal levels.

Richard’s diverse work history reflects his expertise in areas such as risk management, licensing, and contract negotiation. As the owner of the Law Offices of Richard L. Vitali, he has honed his skills in legal writing, employee relations, and investigative research, allowing him to navigate the complexities of the gaming industry effectively. Throughout his career, he has successfully negotiated and drafted numerous complex business agreements while advising management on crucial matters like environmental concerns and marketing strategies.

A resident of the Alton area since July 2002, Richard enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Shannon, and their six adult children. A former professional musician, he currently sings in several local choirs and remains an avid sports fan with a passion for teams based in Philadelphia.
